My Blessed Night Poem by James Darwin Smith II

My Blessed Night

Rating: 5.0

.
Dreaming of flight
To fly the starry skies
Looking down
Peeking below
Gazing upon grandeur Peaks
Relishing in the certainty
Of a sudden respite

The night so tranquil
Peaceful partaking
As this twilight spirit
Guides me Unconditionally
With love
Upon this spirituality
The sanctuary of
Feeling reborn
In this epiphany
Blessed upon
A Corvus night

Ebony wings
Stretching far and wide
Caressing the winds
Of change
Blowing with warm regards
No more pain
As this heart
Beats with hope
Feeling true to myself
Carrying on
In the greatest of strides

And the dreams stay alive
In this moment of slumber
As this soul is freed from limitation
Riding the airs
Of endless possibilities
Hand in hand
With the kindred nature of beauty
Soaring towards the greatest of flights

Royalty amongst the stars
Flying high amongst her majesty
Slumbering with hope
Striving to be as one
With the essence of
The glory of the night

May these dreams flow diligently?
Amongst her beauty's charm
Onward and beyond
The furthest reaches
Of the unbridled mind
Amongst the further reaches
Of the gallantly gleaming stars

Put a spell on me, Love
As I close these eyes
Only to shape-shift
Into avian form
Corvus correlation
In the endless dark skies
As my admiration for you
Rides on forever and ever
In the celebration
Of this blessed
Never ending dreamy night

n dreams
I am high
Amongst the stars
In the name of her majesty
The night

My love is yours
My dream, my queen
In your solemn kingdom
Of the night

In dreams
I am alive
Like never before
Ascending to great heights

My love is blessed by you
The darkness of your dreams
My eternal gratitude
From you my blessed night

In dreams
Is where this heart truly takes flight

Here is to you
My Blessed night

May my love in dreams
Always strive to be true

To you
My Queen
My blessed night
