My Blue Saxophone Poem by Aaron Burr

My blue saxophone has a smooth mellow tone
It has a loud bodacious flow
It conveys a variety of sounds
Its music a book filled with wisdom
“Let me convey your emotions to the world” it does tell
It conveys my happiness
It conveys my anger, sadness, everything
That I choose to share with the world
Music is filled with unspoken feelings
Held deep within our person
Some that we don’t know of
Some we choose to ignore
Music is a passageway for the deepest most inner part of the self.
