My Brain Mind I Pressed Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

My Brain Mind I Pressed

My Brain Mind I pressed and I pressed, but sterile it stood.

My Brain Mind I more pressed and more pressed and it was as a barren womb and a desert that stretched all of sand
But then giving up I pressed not the Brain Mind any longer, and of sudden came thoughts and came word for a chant and I sang.
