My Cup Overflows - Poem by Diana van den Berg
As her eyes unwrapped the new morning,
a smile born in her toes
surged all the way up
through her eager heart to her eyes.
She was so very, very acutely
and grateful for
a zillion shimmering gifts
in her yesterdays, todays and tomorrows.
