My Dad Poem by jennifer jane pryce

My Dad

My dad he passed away
My heart it broke in two
I try to summon up his face
And see him before me now
But all I see is the warmth I felt
When he held me in his arms
So strong and firm and loving
With a kiss on my cheek for luck
My dad is not with me
But he is everywhere
His love is with me always
