My Dark Chamber Poem by Rehnuma Tarannum

My Dark Chamber

Rating: 5.0

My Dark Chamber.....
Is Ebony or Eerie Black
No room to breathe in,
Coz, there is no crack.

Smooth on the surface
But, tremorous inside...
All my tears and pain
Got a place here to hide.

There runs a river,
Flows there blood,
Floods my chamber everyday
Turns everything to mud.

My dark chamber,
Punches venom into the vein,
Shrinks and expands in turns,
Enough for the evil to sustain.

Pitch black is the color here,
There is no light.
Courage or knowledge,
Dares not take flight.

No name of God resides in it,
Lies and sins are for the feast.
Wisdom never knocks the door
Where Devil is the priest.

My dark chamber.....
Even darker than charcoal.
Cold as the bosom of a dead woman
Devoid of any soul.

Welcome to my dark chamber!
Check in at your own risk...
An exotic prison is awaiting you,
Just don't fuss about all the frisk.
