My Darkest Hour Poem by Colbin Reese

My Darkest Hour

Am I in reality
At this point I don't know
As the row, s shift into different colors
Everyones faces change
Do I act normal
Or run for the hills
Who do I trust
Who is real
I don't see any direction or any clearing in the trees
So ill just stand here grinding my teeth
That this is the end for me
But I'm hanging on in this insanity as long as I can
I'm on a ferris wheel
Spinning round and round
I'm trying to find a light
In this dizzy daydream
I scream out for help
Hoping my voice will carry
Through the darkest of nights
Until then I'm dancing alone with the crazy
Waiting for something to align
I'll go through even the smallest of cracks
To get back home
My skins melting from the inside
Nothing feels right
