My Dream
There was a time
when you were just a dream,
a dream I thought would never come true
or did it seem.
You were
a beautiful dream indeed,
your presence alone made me feel
as if it was all I need.
Then came a time
when that dream came true,
when you were right by my side
and all the pain just flew.
But it all changed
as time flew fast,
and you became a dream
that I wished to forever last.
