My Dream Man - Poem by Terryanne Chebet

16th of february
long day and want to party
so i meet up Ann for a drink
Ann calls lija for dinner
interesting, african evening
In the candle lit outdoors
as Lija would have loved to call it

Ann and lija
staring into each others eyes
making me feel like a sandwhich
but i enjoy,
i blush in their obvious want for each other

clubbing, a bit of dancing
I meet him,
My dream man
Killer smile and sexiest voice ever
fab evening, flirt, dance close, whisper...
Him
Forever, only in my dreams
