I didn't know if I was ready
To connect with someone new
But when I read your writings
I felt it was something I had to do

Your words seemed true and honest
About the topics you covered
The words you wrote about love
Came from the heart of a lady and mother

Your words seemed so poignant
Most times very precise
Don't take it wrong about what I'm saying
All of your poetry is very nice

You have a flair and style
Definitely all of your own
Your heart is filled with love
As I'm sure is your home

Each poem is a master piece
Like Picasso's brush across the canvas
All the words like colors come together
As they are always so very candid

I read you in the evening
More than I do in the day
I take the quiet of the night
To drink in all that your poems say

They always help to free my mind
They fill me with peace and content
All of your poems that I read
Is time very well spent

So, thank you for the escape
You provide to me each night
Your poems open up my mind
Some help me to see the light
