I regret
The things I did
The things I didn’t do
I regret that you cared for me
And I didn’t for you
You had been hurt
Because I hurt you
Although I couldn’t control it
I was blinded with lies
Blinded by tears
I could not see
The innocence that suffered thee
All I remember is the anger
That filled my eyes
As I looked at you
My eyes once anger-filled
Are now filled with love
If only I had seen the truth
If only your closed eyes could now see
That mine have just opened
