My Eyes-The Epitome Of Love Poem by Kavitha Krishnamurthy

My Eyes-The Epitome Of Love

My eyes are the epitome of love
When they see an event so hurtful
Even though they do not experience any direct pain
They do shed few tears
Sharing the sorrow

My eyes are the epitome of love
When they see an event so blissful
Even though they do not experience any direct joy
They do shed few tears
Sharing the delight

They are the entrance to my heart
They are the mirrors reflecting my feelings
Even If I try hiding my emotions
These two culprits
Give away my feelings

But however they might be
They are too dear
The allow me to perceive the world
And capture the images
And permanently store them in the memory bank.
