My Fair To The End Poem by Hamid Arzesh

My Fair To The End

My fair to the end

Ey friend, why don’t you take me with you?
Take me beyond the cold blood
Beyond the meaningless words
Beyond the helpless hand
Because none of them are fair to the end
Ey wind, take me with you
Take me beyond the yellow maple leaves
Beyond the four perfect seasons
Beyond the introduction cabin
Because I’m full of green life again
Ey blood, take me with you
Take me beyond the dry skin
Beyond the cracking bone
Beyond the broken heart
Because my heart fell in love wrong again
Ey wave, take me with you there
Take me beyond the golden sands
Beyond the sounds of empty shells
Beyond the quiet deep blue sea
Because my imagination is bigger than that
Ey God, Ey friend, come
Come and take me with you
Take me beyond the stars
Beyond the seven skies
Beyond the green
Beyond the blue
Beyond the thirteen stairs of love
Because I remember I was so close to you
My friend, why don’t you come take me
