My Father Awaits For Me - Poem by Brenda D. Priest
In my time of sorrow and pain.
I cry my tears in vain,
For death follows me.
I know in my heart I do not walk alone.
Even tho death follows me,
My Father awaits me... for death follows me.
Soon my time on this earth will be through,
We will walk hand and hand up his golden stairs,
We will walk thru his gates of gold and pearls.
In his home I will be, even tho' death followed me,
Now I am free no more pain and tears,
I will see the love from above with tears of joy coming from me.
For death caught up with me.
