My Fear Poem by Paul Marshall

My Fear

Let me make this clear
That this is my fear
And I hope you get my gist

Today I had to say goodbye
Because a good friend had to die.
And she will be sorely missed

They say a friend in need
Is a friend Indeed
And I was not allowed to assist

Because she was in love
He thought he could shove
And she could not resist

I guess it is my fate
To hate
And I am quite pissed.

He will attend my court
for his little sport
And I will give his neck a little twist

If I am lucky we will share a cell
In a burning hell
And I will introduce my fist
