My feeling and belonging
Of wanting to stay with you
Is something that I would of done
For my heart belonged to you
But now the paths have changed direction
We both have to move on
Thank you for letting me stay here
It’s the first time I have been able to call a house a home
You are still there protecting me
I feel you always will
There will be a special place
Right here in my heart for you
A loving friendship we both have found
No one can take apart
