My Final Act Poem by Jessica Trujillo

My Final Act

On the cold ground i lay, it's then that i feel my pain
It encloses me, surronds me
Greif and loneliness mock me with lifless memories
I cry out for help, but again no one hears
Does anyone care?
I reach out hoping to grasp a caring hand, but grab at nothing but empty air
Hopless I let go of my last strand of faith
I now face a decision
Stay here cold and alone, live forever without a home
Or leave forever and never know
'I'm so sorry, i can not go on feeling this pain'
This is it, my final act.
