My First Five Blessings - Poem by Cecelia Weir

Everytime I eat
My food is placed
Within my mouth.
I taste.

Everytime I listen
Sounds from life
Is transmitted through my ears.
I hear.

Everytime objects are sighted
And are Opitcally transformed
Through these eyes.
I see.

Everytime aroma floats on air
Odor becomes a fragrance
With this nose.
I smell.

Everything I feel
With hands of my heart
Indicates within my soul.
I've been touched.

Lovely piece Celia. I like the sensualy holistic approach to subjects, it give the impression that the theme is so important it must be taken as a whole. (Report) Reply
