My First Roller-Coaster Ride Poem by Sana Samad

My First Roller-Coaster Ride

Rating: 5.0

My first roller-coaster ride.
Was as if it was the last day of my life.
Oh boy! Thought I by closing my eyes.
Twists and turns looked as if I’d drop,
Of the ceiling from so high.
Screams and shouts seemed the,
Most common thing on that ridiculous ride.
With a heart to pop-out and a shoe to drop-out,
I could not imagine a single thought.
Apart from all that the sounds were scary.
It sounded like a thunder was coming,
It sounded as if an engine was running.
Closed I kept my eyes for the whole ride,
I just sneaked through, with a little opening of my eye, when I realized
The sky was down,
The ground was up,
And my legs were flying in the middle of the earth.
Horrified I shut my eyes again.
And after a minute or two felt the harsh wind stopped by me.
The ride ended.
And I was all frozen.
I had my hair puffed up like a scientist after an unsuccessful experiment.
But at the end I realized,
That it was actually the best ride I ever had in my life.
