My First Smile Poem by Neetha Sanjay

My First Smile

My first Smile 🌺

Up in the air, feeling alone and exhausted,
Even though I was indeed
traveling in a plane, congested🌺

All the energy & enthusiasm well spent,
In making my meetings extra competent 🌺
All i could think was getting back to my family,
And hugging them tight whole heartedly🌺

Standing in line with anticipation,
Long time at the immigration
Dreaming of my 2 boys
Overwhelmed with joy,
stumbling over their toys 🌺

Quickly passing by those shops
Stocked with adornment & entertainment! !
(jewelry & alcohol la! !)
There was no pull,
There was no pressure
Only the proud feeling, cannot measure.

For my beloved, I was saving my smile
Scanning the crowd of happy profiles🌺

There he was with a lovely bouquet
All the love he was trying to convey 🌺
Laying my eyes on him
My heart filled with love to the brim🌺

All my love for this man, I trust
I broke into a smile, my very first🌺
