My friend, my companion, my soul
when i see you, you make me whole
i long for you so much each day
and wish i had more things to say

My friend, my companion, my heart
you've been by my side from the start
with every breath of air i take
i wish these tears i could fake

My friend my companion my life
your farewell as sharp as a knife
but to know that i will see you again
does but relief this tension and pain

My friend my companion my star
you are the best present by far
from all the stars in the galaxy
im so honoured that God gave me thee

My friend my companion my book
you've given me so much but never took
now i want to say thank you
for everything you've done and do

My friend my companion my eyes
im not good with goodbyes
but thanks for all our wonderfull times
and for being my inspiration to write these rhymes
i love you so very much,
