My Friend Poem by Kyle Corray

My Friend

Sometimes I wonder, just what should I say;
my heart tells my brain, you know the way.

No I mustn't, now or some other day
fall from your graces; a friend I must stay.

However, please allow me if I may,
to speak about the bold summer rays.

Yes, the Northern Lights beckon me today,
to pitch my tent on the shores of Pike Bay!

Oh, my blood runs fast when pondering the sway,
of the currents and waves two months past May.

Well, be of good cheer my special friend, eh! ? !
and please, for me, have a great Valentine's Day.
