As I grow within my shadow
Full of happiness but sometimes it's covered by sorrows
In this joyous and despair moments
You are there to make me feel your presence
When you're near in every way
I'm not afraid to face each day
Yes, you are the one
My shelter from the storm
When my laughter's turns to cryin'
I am not ashamed to express my feeling
Because I know you will be there
To wipe my tears, that shows you care
When I am lost and rejected
And being criticize and belittled
I find myself in your tender arms
Because you are there that calms
I thank God for giving this special person
That sharing its life and time as a companion
I am glad because I was blessed of unselfish friendship
And find someone to be my Friend and my Fortress
