My Carer My Angel My Wife Poem by Daniel B Kelleher

My Carer My Angel My Wife

Sitting outside  in the moonlight
Watching the stars shimmering
Vast universe before my eyes
Feeling lonely i began to cry

My fears confronted me
My tears became a flood
Feeling inside i wanted to die
Anguish and pain deep inside

No one or so i though
Was around to help me
Then a whisper in my ear
Come on in it's cold outside

A warm feeling inside me
Dried my tears and held her
Turning we went inside
Happy i'm still alive

But only for my carer
I would be 6feet under
An angel by my side
Morning and night
