My Healing Incantation Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

My Healing Incantation

Rapunzel said,
“Flower gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine
Heal what has been hurt
Change the fate’s design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine.”

And Eugene was nursed back to life.

I’m not a flower that gleams or glows
I’ve no power against time
But if you came back to stay
It’s all I need, with you I’ll be fine
My dearest I possess no words
That heals or has magic at all
I’m just a weeping little girl
Who’s bleeding after a fall
You’re hurt, done for, but so am I
But I’ve taken a chance ever since
Will you change fate’s design
If only these tears were magic
Maybe you would have changed your mind
Please come back, I want no Prince
Just the broken parts of you to be mine
