My Heart Calls You (Sonnet #107) Poem by Tina Rizk

My Heart Calls You (Sonnet #107)

My heart calls you, why don't you enter it?
My soul desperately needs you, please come, rush
Life without you is a maze with no exit
A palette with no brush, a night with no hush.

Within you dwell, distant by hanging veils
I hear your breath, you must be really near
We carry within us the universe
In love, the impossible disappears.

With whom I share a heart, a temple, a shrine?
Who makes my heart and soul in love radiate?
Whose love is so true, so deep and divine?
Who except you, my sweet tender soulmate?

I see the flame of love in your sweet eyes
The love and world we share is paradise.
