My Heart's Throne Poem by Angel Face

Although you are not here with me
And find yourself at some far distance
I am never alone
Our love reaches through all distance and time
And creates a bridge for me out of the darkness
When the burdens of life become too heavy, for even my shoulders to hold
Before I close my eyes to sleep
I imagine you here to lift my chin up with loving hand
And in your arms I am hidden from the cold world
In your embrace it is always summer
And your voice that whispers loving words
Sings me to sleep and lights up all my stars
You, my protector, my inspiration
Your humor erases all sadness from my existence
You, the one reason behind every beautiful delicate thing I do
My gentle wisdom and knowledge, which I lead others with
Is all created by your love and the peace you bring to me
Knowing that such paradise exists
I can never witness others live in sadness
So I heal all hearts I meet, I bring wisdom to all souls lost
You are the royal blue sky
That allows me to create, and hang rainbows there
The rainbows that make children raise their innocent eyes skyward
And smile in immeasurable happiness
Just like the immeasurable happiness, you have gifted me
Forever in my hearts diamond throne you sit
