My Heavenly Place (Sonnet # 23) Poem by Tina Baaklini

My Heavenly Place (Sonnet # 23)

Little do I belong to this strange world
Little do I mind its futilities
In your soft heart I breathe your tender words
In your sweet heart lies my felicity

Beautiful life is with you, so tender
Tender as morning dews on rose fields
A rose with you I am, full of splendor
Watered by your divine affection indeed

Emprison me in your tender embrace
A life sentence with no plea of release
In your soul I found my heavenly place
Where true love as waterfalls never ceases

Speechless I remain at your devotion
As we sail on the sea of emotions
