My Hidden Treasure - Poem by Shannon Hogan

My hidden treasure
Only I know where my treasure lies
She’s more precious than gold and silver
More radiant than fine scarf’s made in India
Or pearls buried in the clay of Africa
They can’t see you
But I feel you
Each twinge sends a sense of elation through my spirit
My skin glows from your brilliance
Behold the gift of life
A gift I’ll forever treasure
