My Holy Nightmare Poem by Marco Wong

My Holy Nightmare

Oh holy night! The stars are brightly shining.
It is the night of my dear savior's tour.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till you appeared and the soul felt its worth.

A thrill of fear, the weary mind recoiling,
For yonder breaks a new and callous morn.
Fall on your knees; oh hear the moonlight chiming.
Oh night divine, night when you return.

Oh night, night divine.

I dreamt of the girl I used to love and used to love me. I find myself still missing her.
