My Hopeful Wish Poem by Hopeless Heart

A broken heart is what I thought I’d get
Mountains of fear and regret,
But it did not turn out that way
And this I am happy to say,

Yes I admit I still like him
But it’s not like it’s a sin,
Sometimes I wish I could rewind time
To when he was still mine,
But this is just a stupid fantasy
Of which will never come to be,

I can put my feelings aside
But I will not hide,
I will not stay away
I’m just going to act like its all okay,
Soon enough my feelings will pass
And so will the memorise of the past,

Friends are what we will become
And I’m sure we will have fun,
That is if we actually talk
Or maybe just forever walk,

I hope you know I do like you
But it’s just my hopeful wish, that you do too.
