My teacher;
You taught me right doings from wrongdoings.
Like the lioness, I become
brave in the jungle of life.
With your words, you cleared my path;
to achieve my goals without a drop bead of sweat.
Oh, my wonderful mother!
When I'm silly, you are passionately patient
to embrace my childish actions, no harsh scolding.
& when the night emerges and
the day sail away on the sea of the morrow,
Your prayers protect me like iron armor.
My encourager!
When life becomes scary & tough,
Your words are always so soothing
and encouraging me to avail my black times.
My comforter!
I'm so blessed, to have you as
a caregiver for only understand
my silence when my words are dead
& take care of me whenever I am sick.
Behold! In every second, every minute,
every hour, every day, and every year,
I'll be grateful to Allāh, for having you.
You're full of wisdom;
You're a role model;
A mentor and a long-life teacher.
Alhamdullilah,
Amidst mothers, God blessed me with you
and this is enough for me a source of joy.
You're the best I ever know on earth
& I'm gracious to Almighty Allah for you— as my mother.
I evoke Allah for you not to fall like
a thrown star from heaven when
you're to devour the fruits of your labor.
& I supplicate to Almighty Allah
that when the victory comes in its
regalia, you're there to witness in good health,
health, rest of mind, and unwavering joy, aameen.
