My Introduction Poem by adrienne sharpe

My Introduction

Rating: 4.0

I've been writing this story
Erasing the past
Trying to learn from mistakes
Stop scribbling in wrath
As the hero of struggles
This protagonist emerged
But as the plot got thicker
An antagonist converged
With a heavy hand
With a heavy heart
Scraping this pen on the pad
Has got me off to a heavy start
Not sure how to make a proper introduction
Since my tale began with immoral destruction
As I tread through this battle delusive in truth
This ink bleeds out my souls reconstruction
I was the narrator of anger
the author of truth
the victim of circumstance
the accused and the brute
became the abuser after tales of abuse
in my eyes what was even, everyone read as obtuse
Ive scraped the bottom of the barrel
I've also lived like a pharrell
Been the lowest of the low
Been blinged out white like snow
Pushed and treated like dirt
By those who pushed up my skirt
Relationships of Cyprus wars
My bloody back emerged with bloody swords
From one extreme to the rest
A sheltered nest I can never rest
My story began in pain and suffering
Open hook, I had to introduce with nothing
Concluding statement, I gotta end with something
