My Journey Poem by Subash Murugan

My Journey

Where shall I start my journey? Shall I start from the beginning or end?
I saw a dark tunnel in front of me
I don't know where the end is
Somehow I have to cross the tunnel; I don't have the guts to cross it
A long breath comes from my nose
With all my courage put together I move towards it,
I doubt myself anything may happen!
My mind is occupied with vagueness and fear
From the lengthy distance I can see small sparks
These sparks travel towards me and make me wonder
I can feel the blood rushing over my body
I cannot control my dancing legs,
These sparks say, Do you need any help to cross this tunnel?
At first I say No, then the voice occurs a second time I finally submit,
Because I have nowhere to go;
Then I follow the sparks and reach the end of the tunnel
I am delighted with what my eyes see the tremendous magnificence across the tunnel
There my journey has just begun! ! !
