My Kayla Marie Poem by Matt Mondschein

My Kayla Marie

Your un-developed lungs
A sore sight this would be
Quickly blamed myself
For puffin' the weed

Ten years passed
We were blessed
Two sons and daughters
Big family obsessed
My disease of attitude
I may never defeat

For you, a warning sign
be peace minded always
for you will see
You'll forever be my
Miss Kayla Marie
