My Knight Poem by grezlay figueroa

My Knight

Rating: 5.0

The eye that wakes my eagerness
are thoughts (A sudden drift) that touch with fingertips.
He whispers sudden lullaby’s, (thou wish.)

His voice is soft (but held) with sudden lies.
He spoke the truth, (just once) to me at night.
He said “the love I had for you took flight, ”
The oceans waves grew right upon my sight.
Then noticed, O did I? The tears were right.
My knight in shining armor was a lie.
A thief of souls he took my life, [but once.]
Has taken a bow to take my beauty. (&soul)
But right before he spoke those sudden words
The suicidal part of me there then, (has spoke.)
Breathed out from me that hell has taken them,

“The love I had for you has taken flight,
Somewhere beyond the heavens clouds, my love.
to view the cupid who's love might have been a wrong.
but for you the love will be so strong.
for that in which ill fight for you... your knight'
