My Last Will Poem by Sheila Butterfly

My Last Will

I am deadly ill
now I write my last will

Everything I owned in my life
should go to my wife

I need just a little money for a last journey
because there is someone I need to see

Since we met there I tried to left her behind
but she never ever left my mind

Through all the years she was there
she was the only one I care

I wanna lay there and hold her hand
I wannt her near me till the end

She's the only girl for me
she's my love and will ever be

Then when the stars shine bright
I wanna die in her arms that night

This sounds like an epitaph, showing the world the everlasting deep love of a husband with his wife, even after his death. A very good poem to read.
