My Little Sun-Sakis Athanasiadis Poem by sakis athanasiadis Grecce

My Little Sun-Sakis Athanasiadis

Handfuls of soil
From the land of my birth
I keep on the balcony
So it smells like the sunrise

If I come back
The curse will have been fulfilled
And my little sun
Once and for all will be lost

I'm afraid of the rain
And the noise of the air
Because your kiss
In the middle of the night will be lost

I'm afraid of the fire
and love when I find it
Because if I lose it
In the emptiness I will burn

In your naked body
A new journey
I flew with you
I travel east
