My Lord Poem by Ryan Belcher

You are the LORD of everything
the most high GOD of the universe
and You love me.
Me an awefull wretched and perverse sinner.
You came down to this earth and was born in the most humble manner
You lived here facing temptations and persecutions,
then showed the greatest act of love that any man could show by dying in the most brutal fashion
I do not understand why You did this, I do not deserve this, but You did
I thank You LORD
