My Love Poem by Melina Collado

My love is a mountain.
Some have tried to climb it, but all fell and never made it through.
But you were different.
You fell too many times, but you still had the courage to climb back up.
You took the journey to my heart and made it through.
Though you got stuck and lost during many situations,
you managed to find your way through, and made it in.
Your effort and desire to make it through to my heart,
showed me you loved me and how much you did.
You fell in love with me, while climing this tought mountain.
And that is how i fell in love with you.
I love you, because every wall i built you broke.
Every obsticle i created you found your way through.
And everything in the way to my heart,
you knocked down no matter how hard, powerful or big it was.
You made it through it all.
Now your at the top of the mountain (my mountain)
waiting for me to climb yours.
