My Love Poem by Esther Rowe

My Love

I thought you loved me.
I fought the tears.
I saved the yells.

Where was my love above like a dove?
My cover, my lover was leaving me
for her because he thought she was better.
I've tried, i have cried, i should have,
i could have moved on, but i would've being
weak because i was too meek.

My mild mind controlled me. Love didn't accept me.
I was told your a beast but all i could see was your true beauty,
it was just too fruity, i was blind to the truth, i was was trapped
in your love booth. I was only in my youth.

My love left me in the wildness,
For the first time I witnessed his unworthness.
Why me my dear, My unanswered questions
seemed to be historical, His words to me was numerical.

Where did i go wrong my love.
Share the words, What a turd.
I feel like such a nerd. What i over heard
was you loving her. Forgive me my dear
it seems as if my time has expired.
