When ive said an untrue word
Please forgive me
when you were ever unheard

im so damn sorry my boo
for ever making you cry
i wish i could take it back
when i spat in your eye

my strong beautiful man
in my absence you did stray
but i forgive you my love
u hurt for us both that day

i apologize to my love
when i wasnt here or there
i would catch you if you fell
it's not that i didnt care

my love when you shed those tears
and watched our baby swept away
i couldnt stand it didnt see it
a piece of me died that day.

if ive ever not loved you enough
not kissed you in the right way
