My Love Poem by Tyler Hughes

My Love

Rating: 5.0

As I gaze into your eyes,
all I see is the pain of what used to be.
So much hate and despise,
That so desperately wants to be free.

So much beauty and generosity,
so much passion and desire.
All hidden beneath a veil of ferocity,
So dark that nothing dare show.

So let us go then,
on a journey to free what should be.
for what one would call make believe,
is oh so real for you and me.

And as the veil falls away,
no one but I can see what should be free.
So many emotions that no one can perceive,
Except the embodiment of you and me.

All of what used to be,
Is now irrelevant to what I see.
Because the only thing I want in life,
Is for you and me to be free.
