Ever written
Since the beginning of time
And all that will ever be written
All the prose
On the face of the earth
Nay, in the whole universe
If it were all collected
Can never truly describe
My love for you

All the music and all the songs
In every language and dialect
Every voice and every instrument
Every solo and every symphony
If it were combined
Can never truly describe
My love for you

All the ink in the world
All the pens
And all the paper
Could never withstand and contain
Nor could I ever adequately explain
What I want to say
When I try to describe
My love for you

I am incapable of describing it
Of putting it into words
For words are too temporal and transient
Too profane
To contain the purity
Of my love for you

Let Qays
Layla's majnoon
Let Rumi and Romeo
Come and gaze
Learn and wonder
Bow and cry
Swim and drown
In the bottomless well
Of my love for you
