My Lullaby Poem by reinalie jorolan

My Lullaby

You are the music
I cannot send away.
Such culture of which my soul
bravely decides for me,
…no questions ask…….

You form this gentle tapping-
A kind of rhythm quite soothing,
Which reverberates madly
To the walls of my longing…

Where Am I now?
Somewhere…nowhere near my music.
somewhat blithely imprisoned within a limbo
Where I hear your lurid songs
Of somber sorry and sorrow…

Just so you know…
when the night comes over
It brings you back to me as a lullaby
Tiptoeing gently to my senses-
Bathing me with chills and waves of passion,
That reaches out for me across the
Frowning darkness of my room

Aaah…a beautiful ritual 0f touching
And of healing some gaping wounds inside me;
Like a capsulated phantasm of love once murdered
yet being revived a ten-fold each day.

You are my lullaby…spinning sweetly to these arms….
specially when the darkest of all dark night comes

I want my lullaby and not a mocking goodbye.
