What a miracle
So close and yet so many
Worlds apart.
Difficilis et facilis, they used to say.
Amazing.
So ancient and so distant –
I never thought
These words would come
From my own heart.

Yes, what a miracle it is –
So kindly true at times
But oftener than not
So damn miraculously
Non-existent.
