My Mother Was A Looney Poem by Phil Soar

My Mother Was A Looney

My mother said that I'd end up in Hatton,
A lunatic asylum 15 miles from home,
They'd put me in a padded room,
And leave me their alone,
Her words just had no meaning,
As I was only Four,
So I locked myself in the toilet,
And sat behind the door.
She said that I'd go hungry,
I said I didn't care,
So she buggered off to Bingo,
And I shit myself right there.
