This morning I decided to revisit my notes
On how they had counted the last votes
Even as I went past the reception
All I could feel was the heavy negative perception
Children know more by observation
You better be quick with a sound explanation
Or else convince them with an honest living
Only then can you keep them believing
This morning I decided to revist my notes
On how they had counted the last votes
It's clear that they rushed for the coronation
Well, now cry my bloodied nation
The streets are reeking with poverty
And our lives have become their property
They are oiling; meanwhile we are toiling
And slowly the nation is boiling
