My Old Oak Tree Has Fallen Poem by Shirley Harrison

My Old Oak Tree Has Fallen

Go gently into the light

go gently into the light

my darling father
you are loved on both sides

so go gently into the light

waiting for you are a family already there
have no fear darling father

go into the light
they will be waiting at the gates
and there, they will all cheer.
