My Only Friend Poem by Par Dha

My Only Friend

Waiting for the sun to rise
The moon has fallen down
Darkness surrounds me
My only light is not around.

Its quiet, its cold,
There's no talk
There's no warmth
All the night that stole.

Though it feels quiet
There is no peace
My hearts still stuck in the past
The light, the time it siezed.

I'm still waiting for the sun
The night its too long
Each minute seems like an hour
I'm going weak, the stars pull me along.

But very few are visible
In the big dark sky
The rest of them Hide their true self
Behind the dark black night.

Alone i sit by the dreadful night
The stars, they twinkle
To enlighten me by their beautiful light
Drops of life they sprinkle.

But are they enough,
To bring back
the peaceful days i had,
The peaceful nights,
They're not i fret.

I don't think the same old light will ever come
My heart deprived of love
The same smile on my face
The peace, the completeness i felt,
To sense my moon and the light of thesun.
